What is this build trying to do?

Choose complementary actions that raise and lower pressure without sacrificing your main job. Add mitigation appropriate to your front-line exposure. When upgrading, look for cards that improve an awkward part of the cycle.

This is a role-based strategy framework. It does not claim to be a verified level-by-level digital card, equipment or perk list. Check the current digital card text before making an irreversible selection.

How do you set up a repeatable turn?

  1. Read the starting pressure and the desired state for the second action.
  2. Resolve the first action and its pressure change before confirming the second.
  3. End the sequence in a state your remaining hand can use next round.

Check pressure before selecting the pair of actions, then consider the state after the first action. Strong turns come from sequencing rather than staying permanently at one extreme. Preserve a practical movement option for the pressure state you expect.

Which cards should you prioritize?

Pair pressure-changing actions rather than selecting an isolated powerful half. Beam Axe and Rocket Boots are digital-confirmed candidates for pressure-sensitive sequences, while Bronze Plating requires special attention to what actions remain available under its effect. Reserve Stress Vents or another appropriate defensive response for the attacks you expect, and do not make Unstable Core the default answer to every room.

Compare a candidate card against the job your current hand cannot accomplish: reaching a useful hex, making the primary attack legal, surviving the next enemy action or recovering a disrupted turn. Avoid upgrading a number while losing the only action that keeps the sequence reliable. Exact level selections remain subject to digital Codex verification.

How should equipment and perks support the plan?

Match defensive equipment to the intended pressure cycle and movement restrictions. Giant Sword has a documented digital interaction with Beam Axe, so it is a candidate to inspect when available, but the patch does not establish that it is always the best choice. Do not assume every move boost works under every active effect.

Emergency Reboot is digitally confirmed to address exhaustion from lack of cards. Official fixes also state that Unstable Core cannot be recovered with it. If selecting this safety net, distinguish the cards it may recover from the expensive card that created the emergency.

What should you change when the plan fails?

Do not plan an Unstable Core loop through Emergency Reboot: official digital text rules out that recovery. A pressure preview can also change after the first half of a turn, so check the second action in its resulting state.

Identify whether the failure was positioning, timing, a resource shortage or a party mismatch before replacing the entire hand. Record a change and test it over another expedition rather than changing several decisions at once.

Which references help with this build?

Start with the Metal Mosaic class reference, use party composition to assign allies’ roles, and revisit card economy when the party exhausts before completing its objective.

Evidence boundary: Class alias and broad digital combat role confirmed by publisher announcement; exact 1.0 card text, perks and unlock path require Codex verification. Build is editorial guidance, not hands-on testing.
